[January 2008] The November A/Exposure winner is Tricia Kwende with her script 'Massa Cottam''.

 

[December 2007] The October A/Exposure winner is Justine Barron with her script 'Miami Weiss''.

“Miami Weiss” takes place in the hottest of hot spots - Miami, Florida, the capital of sex, parties, and the good life - and then it plops a young, female Woody Allen in the middle of it. Susan Weiss (30) has just moved to South Beach from New York City for a fresh start and to be near her parents, who moved to Miami in their retirement. She struggles to fit in with Miami’s materialistic culture, Spanish-language immersion, and her own crazy family."

 

[November 2007] The September A/Exposure winner is James Sperl with his script 'WAVES OF GRAIN'.

"After the death of a lifelong friend and fellow soldier, three present day WWII vets ponder their own mortality, deciding to accomplish the one thing in their life they always wished they had… before it’s too late.."

 

[October 2007] The August A/Exposure winner is Benjamin Lundberg with his script 'CAT'S EYES'.

"An elite operative with supernatural powers teams up with a female FBI agent to stop a rogue member of his team who is murdering innocent people."

 

[September 2007] The July A/Exposure winner is Jean Blasiar with her script 'BEHIND CLOSED DOORS'.

"Middle aged, single agorophobic woman moves into house across the street from a middle aged, single man. In trying to meet the woman, the man manages to nearly institutionalize the woman, maim her cat, castrate himself and turn the neighborhood against them. A romance comedy."

 

[August 2007] The June A/Exposure winner is James Ossi with his script 'Ultraviolet Child'.

"A high school student, named Harmless, thinks he's some kind of scientist/weatherman/artist. He sculpts with tornadoes and, although noone gets hurt, he accidentally blows away his own high school "

 

[July 2007] The May A/Exposure winner is Cheryl Ann Malaise with her script 'Photo By Kelly Reeves'.

"After being injured in Afghanistan and losing her fiancé, photojournalist Kelly Reeves becomes a paparazzo. Actor Jonathan Parker has a run in with Kelly, discovers her past and becomes intrigued by her. He discovers the woman behind the camera and she sees the real man in front the lens. "

 

 
[June 2007] The April A/Exposure winner is Andrew B. Smith with his script 'Godforsaken'.
 

[May 2007] The March A/Exposure winner is Robert Gately with his script 'Hat Trick'. "Three motley retirees pursue their goals with zany consequences: one has a Urinary Stricture and prays to pee normally again, while another, impotent, seeks his lost manhood; and the third, an ex-pro football player, fantasizes about running naked down the field during the Super Bowl to atone for a mediocre career.

Robert Gately gratuated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BA in English. Although he worked for AT&T for 27 years in the computer field, he always wanted to write. He retired early in 1998 to write full time. Since then he has written 9 screenplays, 2 stage plays and 2 novels. He has been placed in over 100 competitions since 2000 and one of his novels was published in 2005.

 

[March 2007] The February A/Exposure winner is Aric Iverson with his script 'Fallacy'. The logline is "When the sole suspect in his wife's murder sets out to find the real killer, he encounters an altered reality where Chicago is living in the year 1926." Amongst other prizes, Aric wins the latest version of the award winning Final Draft screenwriting software.

 
 

[February 2007] Former A/E Monthly winner, Rock Shaink Jr. nabs several writing gigs including the films The Seed and Alter Ego as well as having his A/E winning script The Story of Beth included in the soon to be published The Greatest Screenplays Hollywood Never Made .
